Welcome to City Jazz, the place to book top quality jazz musicians in London and across the U.K. We have many years of experience performing at weddings, corporate events and private parties, and pride ourselves on providing a sophisticated, personal and professional service for our clients. With our instrumental groups, we specialise in small jazz ensembles featuring the saxophone, with our most popular combinations being Jazz Duos, Trios and Quartets. Our vocal groups have been hand picked from years of experience singing at top events in Europe and beyond, and come in many flavours, including Traditional Jazz, Rat Pack and Funk / Soul outfits.

Why Jazz?

Live jazz music provides your event with an extra element of class and spontaneity, and can help break the ice with clients, staff, family and friends. Jazz music is a combination of familiar “standard” material coupled with improvised sections, so each performance is a unique occurrence; a truly designer addition to your hospitality experience. You choose the role you want us to play. We can provide atmospheric performances, i.e. jazz to accompany and complement your event, normally with an instrumental ensemble. On the other hand, our vocal groups will give you the option you need if the music is the primary focus of proceedings, especially if dancing is required.
